Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?
My body of arts are mostly created using acrylics, collage, coloured pencils and water colours which allow me to tell my story using different layers of textures.
How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?
Firstly, I develop my concept by drawing inspiration from music, people and the world around me. I then sketch out my ideas to help to visualise my concepts. Next, I begin using different mediums to further develop my concepts until I get my desired end result.
Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?
I create my work in my home as I understand the importance of being at one in my own space and how much easier is it to deal with life’s daily stresses when one is placed in a harmonious environment.
