Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?
I work with oil paints and linseed oil painting medium. I love the texture of oil paints and its malleability, combined with the linseed oil, it produces a simple though very effective medium.
How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?
It develops gradually from an idea, then it evolves to a carefully layered composition through layers of painting, then slowly a new piece reveals itself.
Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?
I work and I'm mostly inspired by the outdoors. I also have a small space at my own home in which I paint.
