Artist Interview

What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?

I work with acrylic paint on canvas. I love the texture that acrylic paint allows you to discover and I love to paint at a large scale.

How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?

I begin my process designing on my IPad, where I’m free to iterate through an array of colours, compositions and scales. When happy with the design, I move onto stretched canvas, where I apply layers of paint and encourage the texture to bring the work to life.
