Panchali Sheth is a Sydney-based Indian-Australian artist whose work blends the rich visual language of Indian miniatures with contemporary abstraction. She holds a Master of Art (MA) and a Master of Fine Art (MFA) from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. Her practice has been shaped by international residencies, including programs in France (2021), New York at the School of Visual Arts (2023), and most recently a month-long residency in Rajasthan, India (2025). Drawing from cultural narratives, travel, and lived experience, Sheth creates vibrant figurative and abstract works that explore identity, mythology, and storytelling.
Across her growing body of work, Sheth continues to explore the intersections of culture, identity, and contemporary storytelling, creating paintings that resonate with emotional depth and timeless energy.
