Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?
I work with acrylic and oil pastels. My pieces often go on journey of their own and acrylics allow me to make a lot of changes fast. Oil pastels are always the final finishing touch.
How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?
My pieces start with a tiny story in my head, once that is on the canvas the rest reveals itself. Sometimes it takes hours, sometimes weeks – I never know until I start.
Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?
Every corner of my apartment is covered in paint. Where ever the light goes I follow it, no room is safe from me.
