Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?
My predominant medium is acrylic paint. Depending on the piece, it can also include oil paint, oil pastels and gouache. Texture and tactility are key in the creation of these various artworks, with the painted surfaces ranging from hand stitched textiles to canvas and wood panels.
How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?
There's an age old cliche, blood, sweat and tears; one might better say, paint, sweat and fears.
Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?
Good music (subjective) and light (objective), the rest is just circumstantial.
