The mediums of his representation have ranged from oil to acrylic on board and canvas – integrating the presentation of the style of realism in a contemporary art context.

Joseph graduated from the National Art School with a Graduate Diploma in Fine art in 2021. He has been involved in numerous group and Solo Shows in the sydney area since, most recent solo show “Broadway Duchess” at Chauffer Gallery in mid 2025.

Artist Interview

What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?

Im working currently with oil on canvas because it feels like the right way to communicate the visually the ideas I am exploring right now.

How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?

I paint from references which I document online and in person, working with visual concepts until i feel a whole exhibition form.

Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?

I rent a shared space in Beaconsfield which acts as a third place that I can make art outside of regular-life activities.
