Painting solely in oil and with a primary focus on producing ‘quirky’ contemporary realism, Karen works to imbue her chosen subjects with a ‘soul’ or spiritual energy. Inspiration is drawn from a strong interest in the spiritual aspect of English Folklore and Animism.
