Shannon Simm is a full time artist & tattoo artist living in Tasmania. Exploring the romance of the banal and the ever changing surroundings and details of her environment, her work captures a moment in time, as if the motion is still alive on her canvas. Shannon maintains a focus on capturing people and the untold beauty within every fold, skin pore, and angle, using light in a way that brings attention to the parts of one’s self that are purposefully hidden, and works to create a new found appreciation and love for.
